Please note the new date and time for this event as we postponed due to the weather.
Join us for an evening of community and connection as we honour those lost to violence and transphobia.
There will be some speeches and sharing, followed by a time of community connection with refreshments.
We know that this can be a hard day for folks so there will be a mental health professional on-site.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Transphobia of any kind will not be tolerated.
We were outside last year but the forecast is looking pretty chilly so we'll be inside this year.
A gentle reminder that staying home when you're sick is a form of community care.
Please note that while we had an ASL interpreter at the Trans Day of Remembrance vigil last year, we won't have one this year as our usual local interpreter was unavailable. While we always do what we can to prioritize accessibility at our events, the costs of hiring an ASL interpreter to travel out for a small event like this is not feasible for a small, grassroots organization like us.
