Sponsorship

We are so grateful for the financial support we’ve received from local businesses, individuals, and other 2SLGBTQIA+ groups. This generous support has allowed us to grow and keep improving our annual Pride March & Rally.

what are the benefits of supporting Pembina Valley Pride?

When you sponsor Pride you are not only taking advantage of a great marketing opportunity; you are also letting the community know that you support the positive social change that Pride represents. By partnering with Pride, you’re helping make the Pembina Valley an even better place to live.

Why is Pride important?

“One of the key aspects of a Pride event like this one is community. This is an opportunity for 2SLGBTQIANB+ people in the Pembina Valley to come together, really see one another, and support one another. It is also an opportunity for our allies to stand up and show their support of our community in a very visible and public way.”

What does a pride celebration look like in the pembina valley?

We strive to make our Pride March & Rally an inclusive and accessible event where our diverse community can gather for a joyful afternoon of building connections and celebrating the Rainbow community.

We start off the afternoon with a march on a pre-approved route, either on the street or sidewalk, and end up at a park where Rainbow folks and allies share their impactful stories, make new friends, and connect with their community. We also have children's activities like face painting as there are usually a lot of families attending.
